A global engineering, design and sustainability consultancy has relocated its Bristol office to The Distillery.

Ramboll will move into the BREEAM Excellent office, which is a short walk from Temple Meads station. The firm will occupy 4,415sq ft of the new office complex under a five-year lease from Royal London Asset Management.

No. 1 The Distillery also has an Energy Performance Certification A rating, photovoltaic roof panels and a living wall. Durable and sustainably sourced materials like FSC timber were specifically chosen for the build.

Ramboll’s new office on the fifth floor of the building is open plan and future-proofed in line with evolving hybrid working practices. The office also offers team members a wellbeing room and quiet zone, and encourages low-carbon commutes with its ample cycle storage and central location.

Philippa Spence, Ramboll, UK managing director said: “After 15 years in our previous Bristol office, we’re excited to mark our team’s next chapter with the move to The Distillery, with space for us to grow. Our fantastic new office will help us better serve our employees’ working experiences and wellbeing whilst acting on the principles of sustainability that lie at the heart of our business. We look forward to welcoming our clients to our new space in the coming months.”

Ramboll was advised on the move by property consultancy Colliers, with JLL the joint agent on The Distillery office scheme alongside Knight Frank.
