World-renowned jewellery brand Fabergé has chosen a Birmingham retailer to stock its products to mark its recent 180th birthday.

In honour of the landmark anniversary, the company has selected JQ Diamonds in the city's Jewellery Quarter to sell 180 pieces - the only shop in the entire West Midlands to win the work.

This collection comprises the Colours of Love pendant as well as the 180 limited-edition egg objets.

In addition to the 180-year anniversary collection, JQ Diamonds is also the chosen stockist for Fabergé's egg pendant jewellery with each piece inspired by the original Fabergé Imperial Egg.

Fabergé was founded in 1842 and rose to prominence when Peter Carl Fabergé became the official goldsmith to the Russian imperial court.

Manish Jogia, managing director of JQ Diamonds, said: "It's such an honour to be selected as Fabergé's stockist in the West Midlands because few, if any, jewellery brands can match its history and how highly it's revered around the world.

"That's what makes any piece by Fabergé so investable."
