Automotive retailer Vertu Motors is lining up its first Ducati dealership in the North East having partnered with the Italian motorcycle brand.

Vertu Motorcycles Ducati Sunderland will be opened next to Vertu's other showroom sites at Boldon Business Park and will sell the full range of Ducati models and Scrambler Ducati motorcycles - the brand's off-road capable range - including the Ducati Approved programme. The site will also sell aftermarket accessories and other apparel and offer servicing.

To accommodate the move, which will create nine jobs, Vertu will extend its Boldon operation with two single storey extensions to house a parts storage space, motorcycle workshop, and service reception area.
